COMMUNITY-LED, DATA-BASED APPROACHES TO COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE

R4P is a five-year USAID-funded initiative to strengthen community resilience and counter violent extremism in Côte d’Ivoire’s northern border areas.

The research includes various studies conducted by the USAID-funded “Resilience for Peace”, for which we developed an array of analyses and visuals, static and interactive, and in two languages.

Topics on which we focused, among others, are: community resilience, immunity to violent extremism, continuous flow and merge of people from different ethnicities, displaced people, and long-established communities like the Peulh and the Dozo people.

More to come!

Here is an infographic developed within the R4P program, showing the scope and degree of resilience strategies among the inhabitants of Northern Côte d’Ivoire
